webdav permission denied (403)

Spent some time baffled, because the permission seemed OK. Finally… it was due to selinux. Man selinux gave me a hint. The directory had the wrong context - httpd_sys_content_t, rather than httpd_sys_content_rw_t.

After running:

chcon -R -t httpd_sys_content_rw_t repository-folder

it was OK again.
